Pietrasanta is a medieval town near Lucca and Pisa. Pietrasanta has been the marble capital since the times of Michelangelo, and today the town has a lot of art galleries, marble studios and bronze foundries, as well as Italian fashion shops, luxury beaches and wonderful mountains (Apuan Alps). In the house where Michelangelo spent some months of his life, looking for the marble block of his masterpiece "Pietà" (today in the Vatican museum, in Rome), tourists can drink an espresso coffee and admire the main "Piazza" (Cathedral square). A lot of restaurants of the Versilia coastal have moved to Pietrasanta in the last 10 years, as the town has become the centre of the high-quality tourism.
Artists use to rent my apartments because they are really in downtown, very close to the main studios and, at the same time, they are very comfortable and cozy.
Tourists use to rent my apartments because Pietrasanta is the ideal location for day trips to Pisa (30 km, 20 minutes by train), Florence (90 km, 90 minutes by train), Lucca (40 km, one hour by bus), 5 Terre (50 km, one hour by train), Carrara (20 km, 30 minutes by train), Camaiore (15 km, 30 minutes by bus), Viareggio (20 km, 12 minutes by train).

Palazzo Ferretti has six lovely apartments (about XIX century) in downtown, at Via del Paduletto 10/12, the small street between Via del Teatro and Via della Fontanella. The area has traffic limitations and it is very quiet. The apartments are very close to the Cathedral Square, the railway station, the bus station, the internet point, the restaurants and the commercial area.
All the apartments have washing machine, safe, steam iron, ironing board, free-to-view satellite TV set. The kitchen is very comfortable and it is fully equipped: microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, etc. The garden is about 200 square meters, and it has sun-beds, tables, chairs, sun-umbrellas, etc.
