Hotel Description

The building dates from the beginning of the 20 century and has been completely renovated respecting the original style. It is a typical “masseria” in the Ragusan area, it shows the characteristic wooden tiled roof and the Sicilian thick walls and a large courtyard, called “baglio”.
The B&B is immersed in the Sicilian hills and is both, 10 minutes from the baroque center of Ragusa, Ibla ( Unesco cultural patrimony ) and from the castle of “Donnafugata”. It is also 20 minutes from the sandy beaches of “Marina di Ragusa”. The building offers a tipical Sicilian style kitchen with a stone oven and another kitchen and dining room suitable for conferences. There are four double rooms each with their one bathroom. The rooms are finely furnished and have air-conditioning, television and everything necessary for a comfortable stay.
What we intend to offer is not the usual established itinerary, but we would like to give you the chance to combine baroque art with the flavours and perfumes of the Ragusan countryside, to fully appreciate the various aspects of our area. We also give you the opportunity to go riding with our own horses.
