Hotel Duca d'Alba, Roma  

We booked this hotel because of the Central location and also the decent room pictures posted. However, the place is really quite run-down and old. Our master bedroom toilet kept having the urine smell despite our many effort trying to clean it & we sprayed perfume just to make it less unpleasant. The smell even permeates into our bedroom. The water pressure for showering was also weak. There were lizards and large moths all over the place and in the corridor. The TV reception is so poor that you give up watching it. It was so bad that we tried to spent little time in the apt. It is really such waste as the buiding is in a good central location. The owner should remove the decent looking pictures and refurbish the place to improve living conditions. Otherwise , they will get very few repeated customers We would have move to next door Hotel if we have not paid for all the nights in advance. No free parking here either unlike most hotels.
