The breakfast room & THE OLD EPISCOPIC is located in the heart of the medieval village of Pontoon in the town of Scala, and 1.5 km from Ravello. Nestled on the ridge overlooking AMALFI ATRANI to the west and east.

It occupies the top floor of a building with a charming medieval cloister, the summer residence of the Bishop of time scale, is included in tourist itineraries in the territory because of its historical and architectural value.

Arrived in the lovely square of the village of Pontoon, the churchyard of St. John the Baptist, who is worth a visit, through a staircase typical local, not more than forty steps, we find ourselves in the vestibule of a second church, covered with vaults breathtaking heights for the site. You are in front of the church of S. Philip Blacks.

It 's a magical place for the silence that reigns: interrupted only by a dog from barking and braying mule that helps some of the man in the carriage of goods. But just take or a straight or a path and in a little less, or more than 15 minutes you find yourself in the middle of the bustling Amalfi, Atrani, the ruins of the Basilica of St. Eustace or immersed in the cool of the Valle delle Ferriere. With a walk of 30 minutes you are in Ravello.
