Casale Galati was part of the large estate of the noble family Arone di Bertolino. The original house was built in the seventeenth century on the site of an ancient monastery. It was modelled on the Roman Villa Rustica style, being square with a central courtyard. The present house dates from the 1970s and maintains the attractive rustic style. With its elevated position on a hill dominating the valley it offers superb views of sea and mountain as far as the eye can see.

We are approx 5 km fromSciacca and 7 km. from the best beaches of the south coast of Sicily. Ideally situated between the Greek temples ofAgrigento, Selinunte and Segesta for archeological excursions.
