Directions

HOW TO GET THERE.

From Marco Polo Airport .

Public or private transport available.

1) Public water bus “Alilaguna” line which goes to “Piazza San Marco”.

2) Public bus “ACTV” line, n°5 to Piazzale Roma – Venice.

By car.

At the exit from the motorway follow the signs for Venice- Piazzale Roma ( Bus Terminal).

Cars can be left in one of the garages at Piazzale Roma.

By train.

Arrives directly at the station of “Santa Lucia” – Venice.
For those arriving at Piazzale Roma or Santa Lucia Station.

Take the “ACTV” line vaporetto N°1 or N°82 going towards the “Lido” get off at the stop “San Marco – Calle Vallaresso” service runs every 10 minutes, journey time approximately 40 minutes via the Grand Canal: service after 21.00 is reduced to every 20 minutes.

From midnight the 82 and 1 are replaced by the service “N”.
Alternatively one can get off before San Marco at Rialto and follow the signs for San Marco coming out at “Calle Dei Fabbri”.

For those arriving in Piazza San Marco.

Loolking at the “Basilica di San Marco” head towards the left ( the side of “Procuratie Vecchie”).

Pass under the opening from the square named “Sotoportego Dei Dai” pass over the “Bridge Dei Dai” follow the “Calle” situated ahead and you will find the main entrance of the Hotel Royal San Marco on your right.
