Directions

FROM TRAIN STATION (approx.

10 minutes walking):Outside the station, cross the bridge on the left side, Ponte degli Scalzi,and go on the opposite side.Keep going long the river having the Gran Canal and the Train Station onyour right.You'll find a bridge, make few steps and turn on the left in "Rio dei Tolentini".

Follow the canal up to the end keep having the small canal onyour right, and you'll reach Fondamenta del Gaffaro that goes on the left.Follow the fondamenta up to Ponte Marcello (there is a big Hotel front of it: Hotel Sole).

Turn right having the bridge on the back, in Fondamenta Malcanton, 50 meters and turn right.On the left side you'll see a small square, Corte del Gallo, with a small fountain and 2 gates, the one with the 2 lamp and a magnolia tree is theentrance of Locanda Gaffaro.

FROM AIRPORT
Take the BUS/ shuttle to Venice – Piazzale Roma (air terminal).

From here continue on foot, Hotel Locanda Gaffaro is 5 minutes away.

With Piazzale Roma behind you, continue on your right, soon you will be able to see three bridges that intertwine, go through them, going down on your left and go straight along the Fondamenta del Magazen that shortly after becomes Fondamenta del Gaffaro.

Continue straight (the canal will be on your left), follow the fondamenta that turns right and changes its name to Fondamenta del Malcanton.

After 50 meters, with Ponte Marcello behind you) turn right, you will see a small square with a fountain, at number 3589 you will find Locanda Gaffaro .
