Hotel Corte Contarina,  Venice  was an ancient family residence of the "doge Contarini" and it is located in the heart of the most ancient Venice area. The hotel is only few steps from the first cathedral in Venice, San Pietro di Castello and near the ancient "arsenale" (dockyard) and the Venice biennal exhibition area.

It is situated in a very quiet and calm street, close to the lively via Garibaldi, where you will be immersed in the typical everyday Venetian life, with its traditional shops and colorful markets. The hotel is approximately 10-minute walking distance or two stops by boat from the well-known and marvelous Piazza San Marco, in the very heart of the city centre.

The hotel was built in 1800 and it is a three-storey building, completely renovated and brought to its original glory.
