The Hungaria Palace Hotel is right in the center of Lido of Venice, five minutes from the public boat departures for S. Marco and from the ronown beach.
The building which hosts the hotel was built in 1905, when the Lido was just starting to become popular as 'the' restort area, and the lovely neorenaissance facade was further embellished in 1914 by a polychrome majolica covering.
The inside is furnished with items from the Eugenio Quarti Milan based cabinet-maker's shop which in those years headed the most refined Italian Art Nouveau furniture.
