Hotel Description
Shohoen is a traditional Japanese ryokan where you can enjoy the good old days of Japan.Our ryokan was built by the traditional technique, and has been designated as an Onsen( Hot-Spring ) Heritage and registered as a tangible cultural asset.
We also won a special award in the best 100 hotels and ryokans of Japan in 2003.
We have two types of chartered open-air bath and a big bath which is made of cypress.
Please enjoy the natural hot spring in our great baths to your heart's content!
