The hotel was very nice. The room...
The hotel was very nice. The room was small, as was to be expected, but not cramped. Everything was well designed. Bathroom had a toilet with bidet, provided toothbrushes, combs, razors. There were cotton robes and slippers in the room. It was air-conditioned. We were a couple and a room had a queen bed. It was enough, but if we had a child, we'd need a different room, as there would be no space.
Hotel has a jacuzzi on the top floor, which my husband checked and found the water to be very hot (so I didn't go in). Be prepared to leave your swimwear behind when you enter the communal bath in Japan (men and women separate).
The hotel is located 2 large blocks from the railway station and, for fit walkers, is a walking distance to a number of great places. Occasionally, we took the metro, which was conveniently located at the corner and was well marked with signs in English.
We didn't try the hotel restaurant, as our breakfast was not included. There are mini-markets next to the hotel, where we bought breakfast food. For dinner, they accept orders only until 9 pm. There was a cheap restaurant nearby where we had a late meal.
Hotel staff was very friendly and spoke modest English (at least, while we where there).
If you are a person (or a couple) of modest size with a luggage not too bulky, you will enjoy this place.
