Nice little hotel in Kyoto
Nice place, rooms are small but correct compared to Japanese standard. Very clean. People at the counter don not speak English but are very willing to help. Breakfast is Ok compared to Japanese standard, occidental people will find coffee and bread and butter/jam of they don't like "miso" soup.
Good choice
It is a clean, comfortable, simple hotel. Perfect for travellers who wants just to relax after walking around the city the whole day.

The rooms are small, no closet space and you need to keep your bags under the bed so you don't bump into things. The bathroom is tiny, I think the ones on a cruise ship are bigger. But it is quite inexpensive, very clean and easy access to the main bus stops. The staff are very helpful and really try, even if they have difficulty with speaking English.
Very near convenience stores and restaurants.
They serve breakfast everyday - it is a Japanese style breakfast although you can get toast jam and coffee.
I would stay here again and will hunt out the Toyoko Inn chain for accommodations in other Japanese cities.
