About a 30 minute train ride away from Kyoto, located in the famous Nara Park, a huge reservation of greenery with temples, shrines and free-roaming deer, Nara Hotel was built originally as the state guest house for foreign dignitaries visiting the region.

Nara Hotel still retain the original structure as well as few equipment imported specially for the original building. Many Dignitaries such as Albert Einstein, Edward VIII, Charles Lindbergh, Helen Keller, Audrey Hepburn, Charlie Chaplin, have spent a night at Nara Hotel.
