This hotel was great. The free shuttle bus to/from Narita Airport (and downtown if required) was easy to find and got us to the hotel very easily.. We only stayed the one night before taking off to Tokyo the next morning but were very comfortable. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff were very friendly and spoke enough English to help us with everything we needed. The garden with the Koi fish was absolutely beautiful and well worth seeing in it's own right. A nice little convenience store is part of the hotel and had all the essentials we needed for our short stay. If you wanted to spend the night in Narita before heading off further I would definately stay here. Thoroughly recommended.

Hotel is clean, and easy to get...
Hotel is clean, and easy to get to with the handy shuttle bus. Room service is very expensive, but good food at least!
The only thing I was annoyed about is someone sent me a fax, and they didnt pass it onto me before I checked out which I thought was poor. Otherwise all good.

The Narita Excel Tokyu Hotel is what I usually use if I have a night in Narita while changing planes and I don't have the time or energy to go all the way to Tokyo. The free transportation to and from the airport is convenient. The hotel is a fairly large one. Like in most Japanese business style hotels, the rooms are small and not much to write home about. But the hotel has other things going for it, including a couple of pretty good restaurants, the Pegasus bar on the top floor with a nice view over the airport (unfortunately, it was closed for renovation during my latest stay) and - not least - a good spa and sauna. The hotel is also close to Narita city - and has free shuttle service there - which is a nice place to visit either for dinner or a stroll in the temple and shopping areas.

rooms are a good size and quiet(can't hear anything from neighbor's rooms) restaurants have fantastic food, the bar offers a beautiful view of the narita area and its only a 5 min. shuttle ride from the airport.

An excellent Hotel for a short stay in Tokyo.
If you need a place to crash...
If you need a place to crash close to the airport then this place is perfect. There is a free shuttle bus that runs to and from the airport which was pretty cool and on time. The rooms are very small but clean, not many english speaking tv channels, and internet access was available. Overall a great little budget hotel in close proximity to the airport and ideal for travellers in transit.
