The Okayama Granvia was really nicely located...
The Okayama Granvia was really nicely located minutes from JR Okayama Station and even connected on the second floor by a covered walkway. It's a beautiful hotel with well-appointed rooms. I was very fortunate to have a good view toward the north. The included breakfast was very nice, especially for the price I paid--not a cheap breakfast, but a well presented tasty morning meal. Internet access worked perfectly, quick and problem-free. The no-smoking room was most appreciated!! I plan to stay in the Granvia next time I visit Okayama.

We used this hotel on the way from Tsuwano to Gero. The convenience is hard to beat, since it is connected to the train station.

A great hotel in a fantastic location! It's about a 20 min walk from the "culture area" of Okayama. It's attached to the train station. There are lots of places to eat in the hotel, the train station and area. Definitely recommended!
This is a really top class hotel....
This is a really top class hotel. Anyone staying here should order the room delivered breakfast - it arrives on a very large wheeled tray with great food and ample HOT real coffee. The staff do not accept tips as there is a service charge included in the tarrif.

Excellent hotel just above Okayama station. The room is warm, bright, reasonably sized (large by Japanese standards) and very clean. The staff is helpful and friendly. It is good value for money.
For those whom are visiting the Okayama...
For those whom are visiting the Okayama area for the first time, this is the perfect hotel for you! Not only is this hotel perfectly located, ( a few minute walk thru the station) but its service, ammenities, and overall staff are some of the best in Japan outside of Tokyo. Although their foreign language skill are not the best, they go out of their way to help and accommodate your every need! What a pleasureful stay we had, especially for my wifes first venture out of the US. Thank you to the GRANVIA!

Nice and comfortable room, good service, staff very efficient and helpful, location convenient, direct access to JR station, surrounding facilities and shopping and eating places much better than that in Hiroshima.

Outstanding. Way beyond our expectations. Food was good but pricey as one would expect in any first class hotel. So convenient to City and sights it was almost sinful. Very quite.

This was a very new and clean hotel. It was easy to get to the historic parts of town and near lots of shopping and very easy to access by just walking from the train.
The triple was more than adequate and the bath facilities were more spacious than similarly priced hotels in bigger cities.
No need to look elsewhere in this town
