"WE LOVED THIS HOTEL ... WE ONLY..."
WE LOVED THIS HOTEL ... WE ONLY HAD 1 NIGHT AND WE TRIED TO GET BACK INTO IT FOR ANOTHER 5 BUT IT WAS FULLY BOOKED ... THE LOCATION IS GREAT, IT IS A VERY CLEAN AND TRENDY PLACE TO STAY, MY HUSBAND AND I WOULD RECOMMEND IT HIGHLY!!!

The location of the Cross Hotel is fantastic! Staff extremly helpfull and friendly. The design of the Hotel is great. I loved to stay there and will absolutly book it again if I ever go back to Osaka = highly recomended!

"Liked the room and facilities, but was..."
Liked the room and facilities, but was put off by miserable staff and general unhelpful attitude. Was put in a smoking room even though I had requested a non-smoking one (the receptionist didn't even bother
asking when checking in). Checking out was the same story - miserable faces. The flight back was a late night one, so left the luggage in storage and did a bit of last day shopping. When returning, asked for luggage back, same story, met with miserable faces again. To top it off, spent about 20 minutes kneeling down near the counter (without a seat in sight!) to pack up our shopping. Only when I went down to the WC did I notice the left luggage area had some benches and space provided to do some packing up! Not once did the staff mention this or offer to direct us there when we were packing up on the floor right in front of them. Doubt I'll return here - although location and room was good, but just put off by the service.

Fantastic hotel, the room was a great size for a Japanese hotel, the bathroom was fantastic and very clean, the staff were very lovely and helpful and it's in a great location!

"On arrival the receptionist was very abrupt..."
On arrival the receptionist was very abrupt about telling us that our room was not ready. She was adamant on us showing her a voucher, even though we had a reference number. We suggested that
if she so wanted a voucher we could show her an email from their computer and it was then she said she had to speak to her manager. The next morning we were rang at 6.30am only for the receptionist to say sorry and then hang up! Although The room was big and clean it wasn't very relaxing. The design is very angular with no soft touches, the couch was like sitting on a rock. The location is right in the middle of everything but the receptionists were cold and unwelcoming. Overall if all you require is location then this hotel is great. However for comfort with value for money then this hotel fails.

Comfortable bed. But did not like the bed pushed to the side of the wall. Would be nice to have complementary water daily for guests.
