The hotel is right in front of the JR Tennoji station, good buffet breakfast, nice staff and service. We would recommend.

The rooms were large and luxurious. The location of the hotel was perfect for shops, restaurants, bus and train station. One of the rooms had a heavy smoking smell which was a little turn off however not enough for us to change rooms. The staff were extremely helpful when asking for directions to the closest internet cafe as well as restaurants. They allowed us to leave our bags at the hotel upon check-out even though our flight was not until late at night. This meant alot for us as we got to look around Osaka for one more day.

Location is right across from the JR...
Location is right across from the JR station and if you are feeling lazy you can take the subway which is right under the building! The hotel is also located next to a convenience store. Everything was very clean and room was quite large by Japan's standards. Service was very prompt and staff went out of their way to find things out for us and assist in any way they could. Breakfast buffet is worthwhile with lots of variety (Western style and Japanese). They even had a slushie machine! We had a nice view from both our hotel room and breakfast area. Tennoji Miyako was the best Western-style hotel we stayed at in Japan!

Very conveniently located just opposite the Tennoji...
Very conveniently located just opposite the Tennoji JR station and is only 1 stop from the Kansai airport. There is plenty of shops and eating place around the area. Our room was spacious and very neat. The toilet is big compared to other Japanese hotels I have stayed.

The room I had here was probably...
The room I had here was probably the largest of all my hotel rooms in Japan. It was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and professional. The location was not bad, but on my next trip to Osaka, I think I would prefer to stay near the Namba station, even if I have to pay a little more per night.

I was visiting my daughter who lives...
I was visiting my daughter who lives in Osaka, and found the location of the hotel perfect for getting around (it has 3 train stations close by), as well as easy access to other facilities - restaurants, internet cafe, department stores, etc. The staff are friendly and helpful (despite our lack of language). We enjoyed the hotel very much. We found the breakfasts suitable for our needs. We didn't eat at the restaurant at night, but there were plenty of other food outlets nearby.

We would like to suggest that the...
We would like to suggest that the hotel lobby should require a renovation. As for the guestroom, it is fine. However, during our stay which is spring, there is no air-condition facilities but only heater in the guestroom. It is rather stuffy and the hotel should have switch for heater/air con control. As for the breakfast buffet spread, need to be improved.

Hotel was very close to Tennoji Station....
Hotel was very close to Tennoji Station. However, our room faced the station and train noise was bothersome for most of the night. Also, traffic noise from the busy street was disturbing all night long even from the 11th floor.Breakfast was good. Only spent one night.Check in and out was easy.

Great location next to train (and metro)...
Great location next to train (and metro) station. Huge spa and shopping mall also near by. Big, nice, clean room with large beds. we stayed only one night so there's not much to tell.

Located close to Tennoji Station (about 2minute walk). Staff were friendly but spoke minimal english. Rooms were clean and a good size, only criticism would be the pillows were a bit flat and hard. Bathroom was a good size and had fun trying to workout all the different functions of the Japanese toilet:) Breakfast was good. Western and Japanese buffet on the top floor with beautiful view overlooking Osaka.
