The hotel was good size room and good size bathroom in comparison to standard Japanese bathrooms.
The staff were okay but they did not speak English very well and they were unable to help us with most things.
The hotel is close the JR line and the subway line only about a 2 minute walk to either.

We were made very welcome at this hotel. The service in the hotel was first rate. We were allocated a non-smoking room as requested.If we visited Osaka again, this is where we would like to stay. It was extremely close to Umeda station and perfect for the very organised public transport system. At the back of the hotel was a very welcome Starbuck's Cafe, especially after a long day of sightseeing.

Overall a very good choice. Nice and cozy room, very good and spacious bathrooms, convenient location, not too expensive.
The hotel, with its french-austrian theme, is predominantly hosting wedding guests and has a wedding chapel built into the facade. A unique atmosphere of quaint european deco and japanese effiency.
Also a very good alternative to overpriced hotels in Kyoto. Osaka station is a 5 min walk away, and the train ride to Kyoto takes 30 min.

It is a remarkable hotel with Japanese Ingenuity - an old design hotel built just six years ago with new materials and technology. It maintains the ambience of the European Style hotel...I just love it!
