We stayed for six nights from mid-March...
We stayed for six nights from mid-March 2007 and received excellent service throughout - from check-in to check-out. The hotel is within easy walking distance of Shinjuku Station and the area both sides of the station has a huge range of shops and restaurants. Apart from the excellent buffet breakfasts served at the hotel, we ate out for every other meal. There are many places where a simple snack can be purchased and a whole range of restaurants to suit all price ranges. We found it best to walk in and enquire whether restaurants had menus in our own language (not always the case) but soon got into the swing of things and had some enjoyable Asian meals for the full six days. Meals in the various hotel restaurants were pricier than in the local area but could be an alternative to those not on a tight budget.

We were given a complimentary upgrade to the Deluxe room category which was a pleasant surprise. The room had its own massage chair which came in very handy after all the sight-seeing everyday ! Upgrade aside, I think its very value for money to pay S$700 for 3 nights in Japan which is the most expensive place to stay in Asia, and is only a 5 min walk to the trains and heart of Shinjuku. Would definitely stay there again !

For a single business traveller I am used to getting the smallest run of house rooms but this was a complete surprise. The room was spacious, great view, and the staff extremely efficient, helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Perfect location and price for my business in the Shinjuku area and good access to Shinjuku station, local shopping and restaurants.
My only negative is the automatic mini bar - I like to have room to store milk and juice and these despesing mini bars are not user frienly.

The Keio Plaza was a pleasure to stay at. We fitted three people in the room comfortably. It is close to the train network which makes it convienent to travel around the city. Customer service was very friendly and always willing to help.

The hotel was a little old and is situated within the business district of Shinjuku which is a little quiet. However, it is only about 8mins walk from Shinjuku station via a covered walkway, quite convenient to hit the rest of Shinjuku. The rooms were clean and fairly big for a Tokyo hotel and service was EXCELLENT. Only downside was that there is no aircon in the room in winter despite there being a vent so the room is a little stuffy.
