While I knew the hotel room was...
While I knew the hotel room was going to be small after reading reviews of all hotels in Tokyo and past reviews from this hotel, I was amazed at how small it was actually. It was perfect though. The Tokyo Metro is key to getting around Tokyo and this location could not be any better. It's a 1 minute walk to the Akasaka-mitsuke station where two main lines are right there and 3 additional lines are easily accessible by a short walk within the Metro. When first coming to the hotel, look it up on Google maps and do a short street view tour. This will make everything so much easier when arriving. Also, when leaving the station, look for the Sotoburi-dori exit. Head out that exit and then you will know exactly where you are from the Google street view tour. It is a business district, but don't be fooled into thinking there's nowhere to eat. All the shops and restaurants stay open very late around the area and there are quite a few. When coming back to the hotel later there are still many Japanese business men and women walking around (usually a bit tipsy) so it adds a bit of excitement after being in all the very busy areas like Shibuya and Shinjuku. Also, a huge plus was having free internet in the room. The computer monitor is also your TV, so there's a keyboard and mouse already set up. Was great to look up something on the internet if I didn't know where to go or had a question about one of the things that I ate!! Would for sure come here again.
