We loved this Hotel. The furnishings are modern and it is nice and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful and spoke very good English. Our room was very small, but served it's purpose. If you are travelling with a baby there is no room for a cot. And there is not too much room to store luggage either. The breakfast was quite good. It was a traditional continental or Japanese food. When using the subway the Akasaka station (C06)is close by on the Chiyoda line. You have to walk up lots of steps next to the Tokyo broadcasting station and the Hotel is to the right. If you are coming from Tokyo station then use the Marunouchi Subway line and get off at Akasaka-Mitsuke (M13) stop. The walk is a few minutes longer and there is just a bit of a hill to get up as you get closer to the Hotel. Overall, we were really happy with the Hotel and would stay again.

I was on this trip with a group of 6 people! The hotel gave me a real Asis feeling! Love it! The price was right and the location good. The bedrooms where small but expected in Toyo. The decor was contempory & slick. Love the bathrooms always a treat to shower. The staff where very helpful! Make sure if you catch a cab always have the address to hotel it off a main street and was sometimes hard for the cabs to find. Other then that the hotel was a plus. It was my first time traveling to Toyo and if we return it would be at this hotel!!

This was a very nice hotel. A business hotel usually, but not unwilling to cater to tourists like us. Free internet access. A close walk to Akasaka and Roppoungi. It was perfect.

We stayed at The B Akasaka from...
We stayed at The B Akasaka from June 17-22, 2007 while in Tokyo to see a concert at the Budokan. "the b" as it's often referred to was perfect for our stay. Yes, the rooms are a little small, and it's up hill. But this is Tokyo. It was in a quiet part of Akasaka, but it was nearby to the subway and places to eat. It was in a location close to where we needed to go to while in Tokyo (using the subway). The staff was also helpful. They were able to hold important mail for me that I needed to be sent to Tokyo before arriving there. The rooms were clean, the bathroom was comfortable, and service was wonderful. Thank you to the staff at the b for making our trip to Tokyo comfortable and awesome!

This is a well run and well located hotel. The rooms are on the small side, but they are so well designed, you don't really notice. Staff were friendly and obliging. Breakfasts are not the best for someone with Western tastes.
