Quite a nice establishment
I was a little surprised they were able to speak English quite well. Apart from that, the room I stayed in was different from conventional rooms (for me, different is good). It seemed like a bachelor pad with the bathroom cordoned off via stained glass. Of course, you can't see through it but it's surprising to see. Apart from that unique feat, the room is cosy. It's what you need: a bed to sleep on and a little space to move around. It's 5 minutes away from Akasaka and 15 minutes away from Akasaka-mitsuke (I used this like more since it connects to Tokyo). It seems a bit secluded, but 5 minutes away from everything you need!

b akasaka
The hotel was perfect for my needs. I use it to rest my head and shower, the rooms are small but bigger than others in Tokyp. Friendly staff and very clean rooms. Ideal for tourist trips and business trips. The restaurants are so good in the area that I chose to eat out.
On arrival it seems that the hotel is a little far away from any life. But if you walk down the hill and turn left you are a 5-10 minute walk away from the great restaurants and bars of Akasaka. Akasaka is the business district and therefore a classy place. Restaurants are great, and the bars are very friendly (and family friendly).
If you want to use the subway, Roponggi is a 15 minute journey, as are Shibuya, Ginza and Shinjuku. This is a perfect location for a first time visit to Tokyo.
I couldn't be happier with this hotel.

nice room, good breakfeast/room, modern and clean, bit far from the subway (with luggage I recommend a taxi from the station, otherwise nice walk), will consider it next time also.

Very happy to stay at the B...
Very happy to stay at the B AKASAKA again; room size a bit small with no storage room, breakfast a bit dull, but the rest absolutely perfect and staff more than friendly. We had serious trouble with a freak ATM money withdrawal of cash on arrival at the airport (money gone on internet account, credit card number not identical on receipt and card) and wouldn't have known what to do in order to contact the bank responsible and notify them. They phoned them three times on our behalf, faxed for us - and with no extra charge. More than happy to stay there again next year. Small but clean and completely serviceable room....
Small but clean and completely serviceable room. It was just a few minutes walk from shops, two metro stations, and interesting areas of town. The street the hotel is on is quiet so you have to walk 5 minutes to the Biz Tower to find a restaurant, and 5-10 minutes beyond that is all sorts of options.

This hotel has good style, nice design...
This hotel has good style, nice design and good friendly service. Comfortable beds and a real modern bathroom! You will need to pay more for international TV. Not so easy to find the first time if using public transport, but once you get used to the short walk to the nearest subway stop, it is fine. One point about the subway, Akasaka Mitsuke station (15 minutes walk) is much better connected than Akasaka (5 minutes walk). The local area is quite calm, but offers many choices for food or bars if after a long day sight seeing you need something quick and simple. Recommended for a short good value stay in Tokyo!
