Convenient for backpacker
Staying in this hotel is very convenient as there are restaurants and banks near that area. The most important is the train station is just few minutes walk.
However, I have difficulty to look for this hotel at the begining. Also, the hotel is not accept credit card but cash. For those who plan to stay in this hotel, do ensure you have enough cash to pay off the accomodation.
For budget travellers this place is ideal....
For budget travellers this place is ideal. Exit Ikebukuro subway C6 exit, the walk to hotel is under 10 min. Room is basic, comes with clean bed and blankets, a cable for internet connection (free), TV, water boiler, cups and a mini table clock. Towels, toothbrush and soap are provided too. As it is at a quiet corner, traffic noise is quite minimal and do not disturb sleep. Its location near subway is a great advantage. This place meets my expectations and I totally recommend it for travellers on a shoestring budget.
This business hotel is perfect for super-budget...
This business hotel is perfect for super-budget travellers. No facilities, just little rooms with beds, tv, private bathroom and air conditioning, and clean.
The location is 5 minutes walking from ikebukuro station, that it's not shinjuku or shibuya but it offers something and it's very close with these other locations by train, and very important: ikebukuro is on the yamanote train track, so sightseeing for the main tokyo's spots it's a lot easier (and cheaper).
For the price i paid i'm happy of this experience.

It was a very nice new hotel,...
It was a very nice new hotel, but my room was not cleaned once while I was there or the sheets changed. The computers were closed at midnight so it was extremely hard to talk to anyone in my family since they are on the other side of the world from Japan. I do not think I will stay here again!!

The directions to the hotel are a bit vague but after asking for directions from the public finally found our way in. As there are a few steps leading to the front of the hotel, a ramp is most recommended for those with luggages.
The staff are very accomodating and helpful and the rooms are cosy.
Most recommended for budget travellers.

I recommend this hotel for a trip on a budget.
Our room was clean with enough space.
We paid upon arrival and were never bothered during our stay.
The hotel is located in a quiet place and at the same time very close to the subway, a perfect spot in Tokyo.
The only downside is the bathroom which is a quite cramped and not very well isolated (you can hear what's going on from the main room). For us two guys who needed just a place to sleep a few hours and leave our baggage, it was well enough.
