The foremost advantage is the hotel's location: very near the Petra site entrance, so you do not need a car and no hassle finding a parking spot.

Petra Inn
Good location being about 200m walk to entrance of Petra. Room was adequate for a night's sleep. Bed Linen left a bit to be desired and breakfast was very basic.

Really convenient location, helpful friendly staff, very clean room with fridge could only really complain about the breakfast!
