Impeccable service, beautiful hotel.
I cannot recommend this hotel enough.
The service from the moment of arrive was top-notch, with the friendliest, most personable staff we had dealth with through our SE Asia trek. The rooms and outer areas were beautiful, with a lovely varnish on all wooden surfaces. Our room was spacious, with all appliances (including a great air conditioner) in fully functional order. The included breakfast and back garden made it hard to leave for the town centre of Luang Prabang, which is only two minutes away via bike (rental included with the room) or tuk-tuk.
Amazing service, great value for money.

This hotel is a relic of the 1950s!! It badly needs a complete remodelling. The facilities were extremely out of date: from the dingy lighting in the room to the broken mirror in the washroom, to the strangely-designed bath tub in which you could not sit, stand, or lie down! I did not enjoy my stay here, and I do not recommend it to others.
