Good value for money

Great place to stay if you want to see all the major hotels in macau. Walking distance to Grand Lisboa, Wynn, and Star World. In Star World one can take the Free Shuttle to Galaxy and Venetian.

Deluxe Room with hard beds

Reasonably priced hotel in town area between Grand Lisboa and Wynn Hotels , each just 5 minutes walk away .Shuttle bus to the ferry terminal every half hour, from where you can make your connections to practically most other casinos/hotels through free shuttle buses there. The deluxe room was spacious. Lights were dim until we figured out how to switch on all the lights.The computer table light was not working. Bathroom exhaust was either not working or there was no exhaust noise at all. Water drainage from the bath tub was a little slow but the shower worked well. Breakfast bet 7-10a.m was reasonably priced, though it 's a pity the cereals and peanuts for porridge had gone soft, not crunchy. A fairly good variety with slight changes every morning. Don't expect to have a good view as this is in the town area and you see mainly buildings when you look out of the windows. No traffic noise surprisingly. Majority of staff don't speak English very well but we can get by with a little Mandarin. They are very helpful when they can understand you. The hard beds were a great shock to us. It felt like sleeping on a table top with just a bedsheet on top. The soft pillows helped us sleep ok. The hard beds must be good for our backs - we didn't get any backache surprisingly.

not actual cost in the website

I experienced 3 nights stay in this hotel last week. Something really turn me off was, i'd booked the room for 2+1 pax share thru the website. Somehow, when i processing the hotel checkin during actual day, the hotel receptionist insisted to charge me on the additional cost for the extra bed, as they claimed that the charges stated in the website was for 2 pax per room, instead of 2+1 pax per room cost. Even i'd explained that i tried compared the room for 2 pax was slightly cheaper than 2+1 pax per room. Endup i refuse to argue anymore to avoid to spoilt my holiday mood there. Its not that the extra bed cost me much that i cant afford to, but the point was i felt being cheated on this. What is the point of the website allow me to choose 2+1 pax in the room & doesnt show the actual cost ? About the clealiness , sofar the room is acceptable. & the hotel location is ok too. Other than this, the space in the room was not that spacious as website. & the customer service is not very good & about to rude though. I wont recomment this hotel to my friends afraid that may have other issues again.... & last, the standard of this hotel should rank as 3stars instead of 4 stars.

Only a slightly better budget hotel

My friend recommended it because of the hotel location. It is 5 min walk from Grand Lisbao but doesn't have much nearby unless you are interested in jewellery, watches and pawn shops. The room is quite modern but not superb. The bathroom needs a bit of scrubbing. There is a spa on the 5th floor and in the lift I overheard a staff recommending to a guest that the 'korean' and the 'taiwanese' were better, so you go figure it out yourself. Service at the front desk and conciege was ok. Overall to me it is just a better than average budget hotel.

Unique Room Layout

Guest room generally clean and comfortable, glass panel between bath and bed room, enable guest to view TV programs while soaking in bathtub.

The service is poor, staffs not polite....

The service is poor, staffs not polite. Staffs are not sure nor helpful when we asked about the ferry schedule. We almost missed our flight because they did not give us appropriate advice. We will not consider staying in this hotel again.

The hotel central location is a big...

The hotel central location is a big draw. Did not make use of the hotel facilities (sauna, bus to ferry or breakfast) so no comments. Alas we weren't given a non smoking room as indicated when booking (more non smoking floors maybe? the room did stink a bit the first day) May have choose to stay at the hotel again if not for the initial HK98 deduction from HK200 deposit placed. The bill stated we watched 2 hrs of paid TV which we did not. Luckily the time of viewing was also captured; turned out based on the time, we had just checked in and the lobby CCTV captured that we left the hotel shortly (hungry!!) after that so there was no way we could also be in the room watching paid TV. Actually it's no big deal since we did not have to pay ultimately but what puts me off was how the manager dealt with the matter - talking much more when he should have been listening and insisting we must have watched it or how he could have waive off if it's for 10+ min but not for 2 hours, etc. Kinda spoil my late morning waiting for half an hour or so(with no breakfast yet) while 'he investigated' DuhZ
