Hotel is located next to the very...
Hotel is located next to the very grand looking Indoor Sports Complex. The room was very spacious & neat and toilet was very clean. Service was excellent. As we stayed for only a night, we did not have time to sample the hotel's facilities (swimming pool, sauna etc) Our package came with a buffet breakfast which was ideal. Food was generally good with a decent spread. However, we absolutely loved the cake/bakery store in the hotel lobby. Don't miss out on the blackforest and mango cake! The cafe/bakery across from the hotel (next to a 7-11) also served excellent food. Try the Taiwanese fried rice with abalone. Yummy! I believe the cafe is open till 1am! With a city map, we walked to the main city centre/shopping complexes (10-15 minutes) & St Paul's Ruins by cutting across the city's numerous little streets. Otherwise, catch a bus from across the Indoor Complex towards the city centre (5 min) & famous Chinese temple (15 min).

The Royal Macau hotel is a little...
The Royal Macau hotel is a little off the main hotel hub, tucked away in a sedate little corner off Guia Hill. Comfortable rooms and warm services. Folks wishing to be near the main entertainment hub but yet not wishing to be close to the noise and din, this is a good hotel to be at. There are some local cafes and restaurants near the hotel for those always hungry for food. (Note: The hotel is undergoing renovation till Aug 2005, but the hotel has tried to minimise inconveniences successfully)
