Hidden treasure
Hotel is well located for those who are there to see Macao and not for gamblers. It is within walking distance to lotsa interesting places such as Senado Sq, Macao Old town and Dai 3 Pa. There is an Ice Cream place called Lai Kee right opposite and then behind the Hotel, very famous for their home made old school Red Bean ice cream on stick. The only disappointment is the front desk could not help me do online flight check in that only take them 3 mins. I do not have my pc with me and they say they have to charge me $35 an hour. I then visited MJ Gallery at Ponte 16 and their front desk was so kind to offer me that service when I am not even their guest. The bed is very big but quite hard.

5 star hotel with best air quality
The best impression that this hotel gives me is the quality of air around it. The air in Macau was not too pleasant. With all the fumes from vehicle exhausts and smoke from cigarrettes, I felt quite uncomfortable with this country besides its nice scenery. But the condition around Hotel Royal was otherwise. The air around it was considered one of the best around Macau and no cigarrette smell around the hotel area. Furthermore, this hotel provides free shuttle service from the ferry terminal which makes it easily accessible for tourists. The rest of the ammenities in the hotel was splendid. Would stay here again if I'd had another trip to Macau.

It's our 3rd time staying in this hotel within 6 months. Hotel was central located with easy access to town by taxi or public bus. Staffs were very polite, friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend our friends and looking forward again to our vvisit to Macau very soon.

Highly recommended hotel
My colleague and I was in Macau on biz, and we both had a pleasant stay. The hotel staffs were kind and helpful all the time. The reception desk upgraded both of our rooms to the premier floor, which had a king sized bed. The room, including the bathroom, was spacious enough and clean. Best of all, the pillows were heavenly (in my point of view). Complimentary water was provided every morning, not to speak of toiletries. If you are more interested in culture, this hotel would be a good choice. Most of the heritage places are located in a walking distance. And it also has a small convenience store right across the street in case you need a chocolate bar.

The shuttle bus was gd. Except pick up at ferry terminal was not easy to locate. Reception & bell attendants were friendly & helpful. The rooms were clean & cosy although there was no bath tub.

A night at the Royal
Had a lovely stay at the Royal. The staff were excellent and helpful. Very close to the old town centre. Only complaint was that the bed was very hard.

The room upgrade upon arrival was very much apreciated. The sports area was good, especially the pool. The gym could offer some more extensive equipment (cardio only).

Good Local 5 star hotel
Pleasantly surprised with the quality, service and cleanliness. 15 mins walk fr Senado Sq/Ruins of St Paul. 7-11 next door and decent local eating outlets very nearby.

Enjoyable stay
The location is very ideal, close to tourist sites. Very accommodating staff, very friendly and helpful in giving directions. Room was kept clean during our stay.
