The hotel is very clean and staff very friendly. Its location is ideal for first time travellers.
Everything was just fine except for the gloomy view on an unfinished building

This is second time we stay at this hotel, we reallly like the place and service, we will stay again in next trip.
fantastic hotel
We were told it was the oldest and the most basic hotel in macau,but what a suprise when we arrived we found this beautiful hotel,would gladly stay again.The only thing issue we had was that the laundry prices were high in price.

For the price bracket, this place makes you feel you got a bargain.
The place is very clean and cozy. Service was excellent, from the bell boy to the front desk to the waiting staffs. Everyone of them treats their guests uniquely and importantly.
To me, the only negative is the lack of food choices within 5 mins walking radius . Any alternatives might take you at least 15 mins.

Excellent room and services. Nice room amply furnished with a LCD TV with DVD player, free internet (albiet slow at night) and tasteful wood furnishing (with a safety box hidden in the cabinet). A huge bed, which is nice for couples. Excellent and attentive staff. Not a big hotel so the feel is more cozy vis-a-vis the Venetian behemoth. Reasonable rates. The reception area was adequate. The gripes were that its roof was under innovation, which made for some noise during the day hours, some breakfast buffet items were over-warmed and the view was not much. The location is ok as it's only a few blocks away from the Ruins of St. Paul's, but it sits on its own, away from other hotels in Macau and quite a way from the casinos in Taipa. They offer shuttles to Taipa and other further out places, but only twice a day.

We stayed for two nights at the hotel and had read reviews saying there was renovations going on so we were prepared!
We were upgraded to the 15th Floor (premiers room) The room was big, clean and well presented. There was noise above us, but that was apparently between 11 - 5 and we had no issue with that as we were out and about during that time.
The hotel is well located by the old town and it is easy to get to the sights and the casinos.
Nice place to stay, but didn't really click with Macau in general so won't be back!
