why have a mistake ??????
we book the room from this website that shown special price include breakfast and upgrade to deluxe room , But when we check in the reception told us that someone reject our breakfast. . we have to show the doccument and talhk tothem for many time . after 2 hours pass. they ok !!! But not happy for us. what happen with the communication for the hotel and website " Asia room " . WE have the doccument that show include breakfast . But they refuse ?????? we were very upset !!!!!!!!

The hotel Deluxe Room was totally different...
The hotel Deluxe Room was totally different from the photo shown in the website. I was expecting to treat my parents to a "Grand" stay in Grand Emperor, and was totally disappointed with the room decor and amenities. The hotel staff told me that the photo shown in the is for executive room. The casino is also disappointing. Other than that, the room is clean, hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is located within walking distance to Libosa, as well as the Ruin de Sao Paulo, Largo do Senado. Overall - I think it is not value for money.

We stayed at this hotel for two...
We stayed at this hotel for two nights in late May 2009. My wife and I. The locaton was perfect for access to the shopping and entertainment precints. Room, claenliness and facilities were great as was staff service. Decor was way too blingy but we appreciate the Asian community love this approach to decor and their obsession with lights on everything. Anywhere in the public/reception areas was very noisy and generally overun by local clients. Neve will understand why Asian travellers need to shout at each other when in groups let alone in a hotel foyer. Will stay again when nextin Macau. Why 88 real gold ingots set into the floor to serve as pure decoration? In ounces at $900US per ounce I calculated $2.78 Million worth!! Yes there was plenty of bling at the Grand Emperor. B Hanson. I have been to Macau numerous times...
I have been to Macau numerous times and this is my first time staying at Grand Emperor. The room is well maintain and consider large. It bed is very comfortable and soft. Best of all, the only large shopping mall New Yaohan is just next door. Within walking distance there are many other large casinos like Grand Lisboa and Wynn and restaurants. The negative side of this, the hotel casino is crowded and the jackpot machines are still using old technology(coins) instead of notes. Overall, this is not a hotel for budget travellers, however if you have the extra money to spend, why not try it!

For only a 3 star hotel we...
For only a 3 star hotel we were very impressed. Room was huge, beautifully furnished and very clean. Breakfast was of excellent value. We did not like the smoking which was allowed in the breakfast area, this was disgusting! We would stay here again.

The hotel rooms were clean, the hotel, in general smells clean and looks clean. The location is just perfect for sightseeing on your own. It is near many historical and tourist places. The free shuttle ride is a nice touch! The food was OK too !! Maybe they should modernize their slot machines and add more varieties.

We were glad that complimentary bus shuttle...
We were glad that complimentary bus shuttle was available between the Ferry terminal and the hotel. However, on the way in, the bus was small, and we had problems dragging the luggage up as we boarded the bus. On the way out, the bus stopped some distance from the Terminal, and we had to drag our luggage someway. Also, the driver did not provide assistance with the luggage even though we were clearly having difficulties. Reception was very flexible and helpful, and so were concierge and bell services. We were provided what we asked for - inter-connected non-smoking rooms with the right bed configuraiton. The rooms were spacious and clean and well furnished. Location wise, it wasn't in a particularly busy area but was a short walk from the main part of the city.

It's a beautiful hotel indeed however it's...
It's a beautiful hotel indeed however it's a little bit pricy for the budget traveler. I was amazed that my deluxe room bathroom may be bigger than room itself. Overall Service is excellent. I am sure that traveler won’t be disappointed choosing this hotel. Transportation is free of charge to/from airport.

Bathroom needs to be cleaned, especially in...
Bathroom needs to be cleaned, especially in shower there is lot of lichen. Moreover there's no place to put soap and shampoo in it, quite inconvenient.
