The hotel was pretty good value, but the beds were too hard. We wouldn't stay again unless they put in some more comfortable beds.

Our stay in Victoria Hotel is good. The room size is good enough and the facilities are acceptable. You can prepare your own tea/coffee and even instant noodles right inside your room. It has excellent Wifi signal (at least in our room). The replenish toiletries daily. The only things lacking are refrigerator where you can store your own food or chill your drinking water, at least and a private cabinet where you can temporarily store your perrsonal things. Well, at least there is a rack and hangers for hanging your clothes but it's an open corner of the room. The location is quite far from tourist spots but there are lots of public utility transporation around the area.

The smell in the living room is not good, perhaps it may have somebody smoking in the room. In the following morning, the lady who is working in the cateen, very bad attitude toward the guest who is asking to have breakfast. People is crowded in the cateen room but few working staff could offer service.

Hotel Victoria is located in a very...
Hotel Victoria is located in a very typical chinese neighbourhood and is a little bit too far from the city centre to be considered close, however it is in walking distance if you're feeling athletic. The Hotel is OK but is starting to show signs of it's age. The bathroom was only just clean enough to be considered acceptable. The staff were friendly and helpful and rooms were a decent size, if looking a little on the run down side. There are some interesting temples around the area and you can walk to the Chinese border gate, but for anything much else you'll need to take a Taxi. Make sure they use the meter though, some try to extort foreigners out of a hefty "agreed upon" fee. All in all i doubt I would stay here again. I would have been very displeased if staying longer than one night. If you are after cheap accomodation in Macau I would probably stay on Taipa instead as I have in the past.

The place was great and cheap, though it's not in the heart of Macau it's still convenient. There are buses and taxis all over the place. you can go to the hotels, casinos and tourists spots in less than 20 MOP riding a cab. Love Macau!

The hotel itself was adequate for the price. The hallway we stayed in was fairly noisy late at night and early in the morning, although that has more to do with the other guests than the hotel facilities. The main disadvantage of this hotel is that the location is not near to many of the tourist sites. Lobby was beautiful and the personal were fairly helpful. Overall, this is a very average hotel.

The hotel was very nice and the staff friendly. It was a bit away from the town center but had a bus stop accoss the road with a number of buses that would take you to the ferry or the center of town. The price was good. We are a retired couple and it suited us. We would probably stay there again.
