Victoria hotel review
Hotel was okay, good location because there was free shuttle service to all the casinos nearby. Room was small and cold, and couldn't work out how to turn on the heating. It was clean enough and the maid came every day and did a good job. Much cheaper than staying in the big casino hotels, and I guess you get what you pay for!

Spacious room. Reasonable cleanliness. Hotel staffs not that friendly but not to the extend of being rude.
Noisy in the morning(I stayed for 1 day only), due to neighbours (seemingly from China) chatting along the doorways.
Very near to the China border, so you could catch a bus to the China border bus terminal (even the free shutter bus from Venetian hotel) and walk back to the Victoria hotel, if you can figure out which direction to walk.
Quite accessible area since quite a number of buses servicing the area, even to the Senodo Square.

cheap weekend stay in Macau
It's a good hotel for a weekend stay in Macau and if you want to visit Zhuhai too. About 600m straight from the hotel entrance to the border and can free bus to the other 5 star hotel( the buses is park on the right side) The room is about 20sqm but is cosy and they do have a thai channel3 too. Taxi is quite difficult to get from the hotel alway full expect to wait about 10-15mins.If you do not want to spend too much on the weekend rate, this is the hotel for you.

Great Stay!
Our 2 nights stay was enjoyable. The hotel, situated in the residential area, is very classic, very Victorian. Though away from the city centre, getting around is easy. Bus-stops to many destinations are nearby. You can even take a 5 mins walk to Gong Bei, where there are many free shuttles provided by hotels with casinos. This is contrary to some who said that one have to take a taxi to move around. The park behind the hotel is worth visiting for those who enjoy greenery and climbing. Great view up there. There's also a restaurant on the 2nd floor which serves delicious food at very reasonable prices. It's a new experience, away from the bright lights of the casinos town.

M
We were arriving on the weekend, so all the prices are hiked up, but we still believe we overpaid for the room. There was rising damp in the room, the carpets were filthy and the service at the front desk was mixed to say the least. Make sure you confirm your booking with the hotel, because having booked a third nioght through a different website with a confirmation received, we were told too late that there were in fact no rooms. To the hotel's credit, after some heavy "prompting", Kelly on the front desk solved the issue. On the positive side, the hotel is right next to the border so a) you could get free shuttle buses to all the casinos and b) it's easy to get to China.
