Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion is the former residence of Cheong Fatt Tze, a powerful, 19th Century, Chinese shipping tycoon. Located in one of George Town's oldest streets, the hotel features art-nouveau stained glass windows and granite paved courtyards, making it one of the largest heritage mansions in Malaysia. Based on feng-shui principles, the mansion has 16 uniquely themed bedrooms for guests who want a unique heritage experience. All rooms are fully air-conditioned with modern amenities, but yet traditionally decorated with period features.
