A Good Choice of Accomodation in Ipoh
The rooms are spacious, clean and nicely renovated. The hotel provides all the toiletaries required as a traveller. However, the location may not be so ideal if you are going to travel around Ipoh without a car. Other than location, the hotel is perfect.

the swimming pool is terrible
This is a nice hotel, room is ok and comfortable. However, this 4 stars hotel has a terrible swimming pool. Its swimming pool is old and dirty, the under water light fitting is loose out from its fixture at the pool wall. I was refrain myself from swimming there as I was scare of electricity shoot. Furthermore, yellow stain on the tiles. Nobody dares to swim there.

The rooms are getting a bit old and could use some revamping. Manual keys for a hotel of this size is not so common anymore these days...

Not terrible, but I would stay somewhere different next time
The hotel is a little far from the city centre, but it is only a short taxi. Nearby is the Parkson shopping mall which you could probably walk to. Service was welcoming when we arrived. The room itself was average. The bathroom was below standard and badly needed renovating. You could see bits of mould in the grout of the tiles. The bed was pretty good though and we slept well. Free wifi was a bonus, and my husband enjoyed a dip in the pool. Breakfast was quite good with a good selection of hot and cold dishes. The egg station was however, a bit dirty looking with old pans. All in all the hotel was adequate and not too much can be expected in this area of Malaysia.

Aslan Sha Hockey Tournament
A very enjoyable stay in Ipoh. The hockey teams in the hotel were well behaved and the transport from the hotel was brilliantly organized. The staff made us very welcome. facilities and pool areas well looked after. Made a lot of friends during the stay.
Would suggest a little more information about the "local" attractions and utilities in the area be available in the reception area. ie rail timetables, day trips etc.

Hotel facilities
The hotel is under renovation that it has not provided fitness centre. The swimming also need to be renovated. Although it is a little bit far from the old town, it provides shuttle bus service. Overall, it is quite worthed of money.
