Staff are not polite
3D/2N family stay
We chose Pulai Springs because it was recommended by Johor Premium Outlets. However, there's only one shuttle bus and it only goes there twice a day at 10am & 3pm with 9pm the last trip back. You'll need to book it at least 1 day in advance as its usually fully booked.
As for the room, its bearable with very basic amenities. There's an old smell about the room and some lights were not working. However, the housekeeping & maintenance staff very friendly & responsive. Even though my assessment of this hotel is average, I would still recommend to friends as the other hotels around this area are no better & sometimes more expensive.

Can be better
The hotel room (living room with 1 bedroom)was spacious and nicely furnished. Breakfast buffet spread is acceptable but could add more variety on greens ( fresh please!). The chicken/beef sausages were horrible because not properly thawed thus meat were tough to chew!
We were surprised to know that it is chargeable to loan extra towels and some other items. Unless items are missing or damage then it should be chargeable. Please buy or bring your own toothbrush because they don't provide this as part of their amenities.( could not understand why this so called 5 star rated couldn't provide a plain toothbrush)!
There are shuttle bus transfer that could bring guests to 'premium outlets' shopping ctr but this did not attract us much because if we were given choice to shop for premium branded items, we would then choose to stay at near city areas. Dining at this hotel is pricey, o we drove out instead to nearby town to experience more local delicious food with better value for money.
Overall stay - was ok, nothing fantastic. Next time round would try to stay with family /kids and wonder if the kids activities advertisements are for real...

Good WEEKEND
Nice and fantastic place to stay. Very relaxing and privacy.
We had trouble with the room key, could not get the lift to work with it. I had to return to reception twice before someone came to help us. Then we got up to the roomthe key would not open the door. I had to return to reception once more. The receptionist came up to the roomand as he opened the door I noticed that he put the key card in the wrong way. He then told us that we needed to use the key back to front! Why oh why did he not tell us that when handing over the keys?
The room was great, nice and big and very clean. We had access to a nice roof top garden from our room. Very nice indeed.
The breakfast was very poor. The dinning room was very busy and the food was a self serve buffet. It did not look good at all, but there was plenty of choice. Plenty of choice that is except there was no bacon. There was something called chicken bacon, whatever that may be and chicken sausage. Of course I realise that I was in a muslim country, but you would expect them to make allowance for the Western breakfast. After all we do make plenty of allowances for muslims in the West.
nature of tranquility
What can I say....i 've been staying in pulai spring with my family for more than ten times,its a perfect place to get away,overlooking the majestic mount pulai,every morning we were greet by the colourful birds singing at the tree while we were enjoying swimming in the pool,there is nothing perfect than just be back with nature when returning to this award winning resort....thank you pulai spring resort
Room ok though the cleaning could have been a bit more intensive. coming home at 5pm from a long day out in the sun the room wasn't done yet. when requested for cleaning they came more or less immediately it the room was done in less than 5 min. though without towels. Excuse they didn't have any left any more and I had to wait for another half hour. unfortunately during my stay my upstairs neighbours had parties going on for two nights which cost me much of my precious sleep. breakfast was always cold even at 6.30am and there was no chance to get a capucchino on own bill. express laundry took nearly 24hrs and only came after 2 complains but they tried to charge for express fee. There is a big sign for spa but unfortunately the spa is under renovation. The surrounding of the resort is great and one really feels away from the hassle though overall the resort could do much better with such great environement not only for golfers. staff overall friendly.
Need more improvement
The customer service is good and best. Their service is fast less than 5 mins they can settle all the document. The room is big and spacious. It can accommodate enough for my family. The room I stay, the air con is leaking. The housekeeping is not that good. It takes them very long to come up to the room to check the safe box. The electric thermo flask is a bit rest. It take them for 4 hours to bring up a new set for me.
Golf driving range. I have to wait till I give up. No body is there to assist.
The swimming pool is good, too bad the jaccuzi is spolit.
There is no choice in restaurant, very limited only 2 restaurants.

The balloon slide is dirty. Nobody is there to take charge.
But overall I still satisfied with the resort. I will still go there to relax again.

A perfect place to just relax and...
A perfect place to just relax and stress free... Me and my wife took the studio apartment, the room was very clean and spacious. Only setback is there is no DVD player and bathtub. Toilet is very spacious too and clean. Overall stay was perfect with no noise to just relax.

This hotel is a golf resort - it is about 30kms from Johor Baru city. So access from the North-South highway or from Singapore is easy. You can escape the jam. Hotel is nice but room service (and food quality) was not as good as expected. Hotel has 4 swimming pools and it is very suitable for kids. Adults have a seperate pool (upto 2.5m deep). But the jacuzzi was not working.
Parking is ample within the hotel. There are quite a few shops at a distance of apprx. 4 kms from hotel. But must have own transport to move around. No free shuttle service.
