This hotel is very busy due to its proximity to a shopping center. Rooms are nice and services are OK. For couples getaway it may not be suitable.

Mutiara is a over rated 4 stars hotel. Had a few unplesant encounters with the registration booth staff. (yeap, A FEW. I have stayed here several times) the one reason why i keep going back is that the location is just too good to be true. Walking distance to holiday plaza, 3 mins cab ride to daman market, and 5 mins to the causeway. The room is pleasantly clean, however improvements can be made in the toilet, particularly the bathtub. In terms of rooms and toilets, it clearly loses to Hyatt. Howver, Hyatt's location isn't that good which makes helluva difference.

I love this hotel very much as compare to the hotel surrounding. I stay there amost once every two month. It's convenience, just next to a big shopping centre, the breakfast and lunch is fantastic. The room is clear, accept the sound proof is not so good. So far experience once with aircon and heater are not function properly. Will stay there again.

mutiara is a lovely hotel to stay staff are most helpful meals are all nice which eating place you choose within the hotel tried them all shops in the hotel were so helpful the gentleman on the door helped us get transport to singapore as my cousin had been ill and we couldnt travel by train so he arranged a car to take to the next hotel on our tour of malaysia would stay there again quite happily

Overall = the stay was good.
Room = Exquisite even though pretty small.
I particularly enjoyed the breakfast and customer service provided at the hotel.
Regretfully, the hotel does not telecast any cable TV programmes.
