I was pleased with the hotel. The breakfast was varied and overall very good. The room was nice, but I wish I had known to ask for a room with an ocean view as the side I was put on only looked onto the roofs of other buildings. All staff was helpful and friendly and I have no complaints about the way I was treated. Although a bit plain, the pool was clean and gave a nice break from the heat. I realize it was not the fault of the hotel in any way, but I was getting a little tired of the behavior of the guests in the lobby. I wish they had not let children run around and asked the guests to be quiet (often, guests were yelling across the lobby at each other, etc.). If you are going to KK and are alone (as I was), the location is perfect. The Hyatt is not as nice as some of the resorts just outside town, but it is close to shopping and restaurants. If I were to go back to KK, most likely I would stay here again.
