Good place to relax
The hotel lobby is huge and have a very peaceful feeling, might be it was not during high season so there was no crowd. Only there were lots of mosquito from eveing onward. I got 23 bite after seating for half an hour. Suggest the hotel to put some aroma burner near the seating area. The breakfast was good, they will change the menu everyday and there are many choices. The room is clean and I like the big balcony so that you sit & face the sea. The bath room is also very big. Only they will miss out some minor things like forget to put the toothbrush in this room and forget the towel in the other rooms. Also need to inprove the bell counter service. Might be the hotel is really "too big", it took more then 30 mins to bring our luggage to our room after we checked in . We were (total 3 rooms) the only guests checking in during that period. These are the areas that the hotel need to improve. The swimming pool area is also ok.
Only there is no beach outside the hotel, it is a rock beach. The hotel has its only pier so that you can get on the boat to the near by islands.
I will said this hotel is worth to stay if you looking for a relaxing holidays.

食物質數非常一般，晚上自助餐物非所值；少選擇、質數一般，價錢吾平。其他餐廳都不太好！
Excellent Hotel !
We loved the Magellan- there was so much on offer- snorkelling only 15 mins away, great restuarants and wonderful staff.
We will be back as soon as possible.

Relax enviroment
Great staff nice buffet breakfast and very close to city centre ,reconmended for young family because of the awesome swimming pools ..
5 stars price but 3 stars services
Upon checked in they told us we didn't make any booking even with our confirmed booking print out copy from Asiarooms. After so much time wasted for them to check we were finally given a room without any explanation !! the room is so old and both of us came home with many red rashes from their dirty bed sheets or tower.... it's a 5 stars price and actually 3 stars hotel.

Breakfast buffet and all food was outstanding. I almost made myself sick because I didn't want to miss a course!!!
Rooms were well appointed with nice views.
Only downsides were that the bath was not as big as hoped (advertised as big enough for 2 people but wasn't really) and the room was very cold (not a big drama when staying in the tropics!
