Good environment, so relaxing and food is ok.

Five stars room rate but 2 stars service!

Wasting time and money while stay there!
No smiling face of the staff, especially front desk.
The first day that I stayed; the security lock of the main door was broken; one of the bed light not work; the water-tap of the bath-vat cannot stop, can heard the sound of the water drop whole night long!
I requested to move to other room next day, no flash water for an hours at around 19:00, I called house-keeping and they promised to come up and fix it, after 45 mins. , no one show up and nobody informed me that the water-supply had had already back to normal.
This resort is far from city but the suttle-bus is not free, you have to pay RM24/per head and the most unreasonable thing is that you cannot just buy single jouney for RM12. You must also buy the return ticket, but this bus service will stop at 19:00, after that you need to pay around RM80 for the public taxi and wasted the return ticket!
Althought all these are very minor, it was unacceptable and unreasonable for a five stars hotel. I'd make a complaint direct to the hotel, but no reply up to now.

Enjoyed our 4 night stay. Room large, clean and well appointed. Staff cheerful and helpful. Food & drink generally good value. Away from most attractions, making it a great place to chill out by the pool or beach & enjoy a massage!

For the discount we received, the value of this resort was fantastic. The rooms and restaurants were great, number and range of activities was great. It was a little way out of Kota Kinabalu but all the pros outweighed this and there is a shuttle bus and lots of options. Beach is lovely and staff are very friendly and helpful.

Overpriced hotel, far from most of the excursions. Shuttle schedule is not very convinient and u still need to pay for it

A lot of Russians in the hotel. If you are russian do not use russian agent for excursions there - it is 50% more than Wild Life agency next door

Overall very enjoyable stay with all facilities as advertized!!! Similar to other Asian "sea-side" resorts, room had a distinctive musty smell for the duration of our stay... This is probably due to high humidity... Outstanding beach for walking: clean, flat and hard pack sand. Golf course was great as well.

We stayed for 3 nights and it rained most of the time. Apart from the swimming pools (and beach when it wasn't stormy), there were no other activities were available during the wet weather. The location was not ideal as it was expensive to go anywhere in a taxi (eg. RM60 each way to go to 1Borneo). However, the service we received was good and helpful. The food was expensive (as is to be expected), so stock up on instant cup noodles before you arrive!
