We regret to say that our stay was not as pleasant as we have expected.
We have booked 2 seaview rooms and requested for adjoining room and higher floor . We understand that requests are subjected to availability but was utterly disappointed to be checked into the lowest floor (3rd floor) and the last two rooms furthest from the lifts and facilities.It was like a spiteful joke .We could only see the top of coconut trees,no sea.None of our requests was met. We logged in our request for the second night .
When we came back from our day trip at about 8pm on 23/6, we were denied entry to our rooms (both rooms) and had to drag ourselves to front desk to seek for help. Apparently , the codes to the rooms were faulty with no vslid reasons and we were told that all rooms were occupied so our request for higher floor could not be granted. The aircon in one of the rooms was making loud screeching nosies and maintenance crew promptly fixed it and assured that it would not recur. However , just when we were about to retire, the screeching sound came on again. We complained and requested for a change of room. It was met with lots of resistance and we had to be very firm with front desk staff and insisted that we do not wish to be woken up by the noise in the middle of the night. Only then a room at higher floor was released to us. ( never believe them when they said all rooms are occupied) .
Throughout the whole ordeal, no apologies was offered despite the inconvenience caused to their guests. We were tired and sleepy and had to pack our things to move at about 11pm. This really ruined our holidays moods.
The service at front desk needs to be improved .The staff was not as friendly as most reviews
