Friendly staff and the restaurant prices are...
Friendly staff and the restaurant prices are very reasonable. Only problems was that breakfast was stone cold no matter if you were eating at 6.30 am or 9.30 am. Also the room cleaner was lucky to get to your room by 5pm and we were get knocks on our door up till 8.30pm for this service.

Hotel commands a good location (on a hill) away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Had a pleasant stay, room was clean and breakfast was good.

Location is out of the city area....
Location is out of the city area. Although there is a free shuttle service provided by the hotel three times a day at 11:00 am, 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm, I do not think it is enough and to call a taxi you need to pay RM5 surcharge. Unless the hotel improve the frequency of the free shuttle service to city area, I probably will not stay at this hotel again in future. They have a good and spacious gym/fitness room if you like to have a good work out. Breakfast is ok but not that fantastic.

The Palace Hotel have a very nice...
The Palace Hotel have a very nice location and me and my 2 daughter enjoy it coz its near the malls and its easy to get taxi and the hotel have a service shuttle to go to the malls. Food for our breakfast very good but on our last day of our breakfast we order dimsun but we were not able to wait anymore since our tour guide is already waiting for us but my daughter follow up our order but still cooking. The room perfect for 3 of us but we were not able to go to the pool because of our hectic schedule but anyway next time hope we could go to the pool. Thank you for meeting one filipino staff in the hotel because she help us extended our stay up to 3pm since we have to check out at 12noon. Since our tour is from 9am-2pm we ask her favor if she can helps us extend our stay. In behalf of my 2 daughter we thank you for helping us hope to see here in pHILS.

The Hotel is nice, except for the...
The Hotel is nice, except for the Air-Con Service in the room, everything else was very good. The pool was open (Big Plus), although the changing room wasnt, but no big deal. The staff is very friendly and nice. The location is good as well, although a bit difficult to walk outside in the night. The food for breakfast and room service was very nice. We arranged three different tours through Hotel, all of them were good and they got us discount on two of the trips. Overall a very nice experience.

the room is clean and tidy, but...
the room is clean and tidy, but the renovation still going on; whereby there was no notification of the renovation during the booking. I was quite disappointed to find out all facilities were closed down due to renovation.

Though pretty old hotel, recent renovation provides good and comfortable facilities. Location is a bit too far from Town Centre even though there is a regular shuttle bus service provided. Internet service is poor as business centre is indeed old and shabby.

It was very noise due to renovation...
It was very noise due to renovation work during my stay.It should give me a short information about bulding work before I booked this room at Palace Hotel in Kota Kinabalu.But I got good service ant the room is clean and comfortable.The staff are fiendly and hospilitaly.

I hope the hotel conditions improve after...
I hope the hotel conditions improve after the renovations. This is an old hotel. The staff are friendly. I like the free shuttle bus service to town which makes it convenient.
