Good value accomodation for family and business travellers.
Far from City and near to UMS
It is good stay for me as I need to work at UMS for 2 days which it is near from hotel. People who is looking for adventures, you may refer to Tour Counter (Step In Borneo) for many interesting adventures tours. I joined their tour and feeling not bad service from them. recommended stay!
shopping experience
easy to shopping and near to Universiti Malaysia Sabah...very far from City center
nice but too far out of main town
yes lovely great pool clean rooms and well priced but to far away from main town centre for us but for those who want to shop in a great shopping centre fine.
Wet floor when shower.
Bathroom is big and nice except when you shower, water leak out and the floor got half flooded. Hotel staffs on the floor are very nice and friendly. This place is a bit far from the city, however they do provide free shuttle to the city.
Grand Borneo is a great place to stay
We booked an Executive Suite on the 15th Floor. It was very reasonably priced and came with a number of complimentary services and inclusions. The staff were fantastic, always said hello and nothing was a problem. the hotel itself is only 18 months old and attached to a large shopping mall which was very convenient. It is located about 20 minutes from the town centre and 30 minutes from the airport (50 ringgit in a taxi) We would definitely stay again and thoroughly recommend to all.
Value for Money Stay
I had requested for a "high-floor, non-smoking" room which is near to the lift lobby" in my reservation form and I was pleasantly surprised that the reservation staff had taken all my request into consideration and had given me exactly what I requested. The room decor has a touch of "Zen" style and it was very cosy.
Check-in at front desk was a breeze and the staff were all very warm and helpful. Not forgetting to mention their housekeeping staff and maintenance team whom I must compliment for their quick responses to my needs and unexpected help required. This hotel is certainly worth re-visiting for my future business trips.

This hotel is located next to 1 Borneo shopping mall which is almost the biggest in KK, it's quite convenience for eating and walk around, the hotel is OK overall but the standard room is too small and the bathroom is poor decorated, water flooding everytime when we bath and the wash basin is the same when the water split out. But the staffs at the front desk is helpful and friendly, when we asked for car rental, they arranged everything for us.
