Great Location

Superb location ...walking distance to almost all the shopping complex at city. Famous Kota Kinabalu delicacies all located just beside and behind the hotel.

i think i was in the old part of the hotel - the room smelt like my grandmothers house. the bathroom was clean until i found a cockroach! the internet was terribly slow but i understand that is par for the course in that area. breakfast was pretty ordinary. but the staff were fantastic.

Money Worth Stay!

It was definitely worth my time and money staying in this hotel; location of the hotel is brilliant, the room is cozy and the people are friendly. But of course, at the rate you're paying (will is a great price) though, don't expect 5 stars environment. The room can use a tad bit more cleaning before guest arriving and the shower doesn't always gives you hot water. But honestly, that's irrelevant given the fact everything else is perfect. :)

Best Western Hotel KK

This was a budget hotel so very reasonably priced as we were only staying one night and arrived late and we were being picked up at 6.30 am. Room was clean and served purpose. Breakfast was not until 7am and as we were leaving at 6.30am we were too early to dine in the hotel so they did give us a basic packed breakfast (Sandwiches, fruit and boiled eggs).

Excellent value

The room was small, but certainly big enough for 1 or 2 people, I was very comfortable. They provided AirCon and a small TV. The TV wasn't working properly, they quickly sorted it out for me. Professional and courteous service. The location is perfect. Overall, a great place to stay, I'll stay there again when I return. The toiletries are limited to soap and shampoo, must bring toothbrush, toothpaste, etc. The bathroom was clean and provided a decent shower with hot water and good pressure. There is a pc in the lobby for guests and a tour desk to set up adventures. I had a drink at the outdoor section of the pub and the breakfast buffet was quite good, but finishes at 10am.
