very good
nice location. 5mins walk to central point. lots of cheap resto and shops around. 2min walk to central market. 15 min walk to ferry port. we don t take any taxi in downtown. clean room, simple, but provide all necessary...recomment to others. they have 3or4floors without lift. so if you are young enough and no kids,it s ok. hotel staff is willing to help for baggages. wifi only in lobby.
Location, Location, Location
The hotel is simple and has all the ammenities that you look for in a bed and breakfast but what won me over was the quality of service and the location of the hotel. Situated right in the center of the Sinsuran area and just a street away from the waterfront boulevard, one will be spoiled by the hotel's proximity to the open-air street markets lining the waterfront, a good handful of clubs and pubs, shopping and the Central Market. Staff was friendly and helpful and offered many useful recommendations and the free Wifi is a mega bonus for me. :)
Don't stay in Hotel D'Borneo
At first the room seemed adequate, but that was before discovering cockroaches in the room. We have stayed in 2 star hotels before, although we usually get a 3 or 4 star hotel.
We have never stayed in a room where we found cockroaches and we have traveled extensively in Asia. Very disappointing. This hotel was also Lonely Planets pick in midrange hotels- wrong!

The location is excellent as it is...
The location is excellent as it is one street back from the waterfront. The room was quite large and overlooked the park next door. Breakfast was adequate and could be improved. The staff were quite friendly and did everything asked of them.

Not much to say about the hotel if compare with the price. But the location is very suitable for the people who love to shopping.

No real problems with room or service but nothing outstanding. Does what it says on the tin..... provides a clean bed and air-con in the City Centre for a night or two.
