Adequate but not great
I've travelled through Asia a lot so I'm not easily shocked but I thought I'd write a quick review to let you know exactly what you're getting at the Le Hotel. I had come down a sick while hiking so decided to spend more on a hotel than I normally would. However, be warned that the cheapest rate at the hotel means that you do not have a window and if that's a problem for you, then look elsewhere. As i was sick and just wanted to sleep, i didn't mind but the rooms are noisey. Road noise, plane noise, rain, jackhammers, the guy next door watching tv or hacking up his lungs in the morning - you hear it all and while most of that isn't the fault of the hotel, if you're noise sensitive, look further afield. The rooms are laid out with a sink next to your bed and a small cubicle toilet and shower off the bedroom which gives you little to no privacy which might be an issue for some. We also banked on saving money with the breakfast but unless you like your scrambled eggs lightly fried with raw whites running through them, well, we ended up eating elsewhere. Also, as the hotel is in a shopping mall, if you're a man expect to be harassed by touts for massages constantly -again, not the fault of the hotel. The staff were friendly but generally ignored us which is fine. The location of the hotel is pretty good though so there's a positive and there's good eating to be found nearby. Also, good strong wifi in the room for free. However, at the price they charged I think you'd find better or nicer accommodation.
