Really enjoyed it the first time I stayed there.
Decided to stay there again, however they were unable to locate my reservation twice.

Room was not ready till 2.45pm. Check out time is 11am but we managed to extend till 12 noon. The coffee house for breakfast is cramp. The counter staff at counter when we checked in on 29 May was not polite at all.

The vaiety and qulity of fruits at breakfast was disappointing.Otherwise our stay was quite good

I found the floor i was ment to stay on was smelly.So was the room.The bed and pillows felt like a concrete slab.They moved me to another floor.That was as bad.Bed and pillow still like concrete slab.Floor smelt of boot polish.The rooms need a complete make over as does each floor.A paint job, new carpet, beds and linen would not go astray.Sorry will not recommend to friends any more.Pay the extra and stay some where else.Breakfast here is unreal and staff are very friendly.Very close to all shops.But shopping in KL is not very good anymore unless you are wealthy and can buy the big name brands.Otherwise go to thailand or Hong Kong.Found i was only saving a small amount of money if bought here.So didnt really shop much.Clothing is crap and only for size 10 and under.Fakes are being closed down.So not much left. Internet downstairs is slow and always chews up your money.

This is my second stay with Melia. Everything was great from the service to the room but I think they are having some piping problems this time. The water running from the tap was yellowish. Hopefully the problem would be solve soon.

I chose Melia because of the positive reviews I read about it. Melia did not disappoint. Stayed 5 nights and it was an absolute delight. It was the best 4 star hotel I've ever stayed in. Great room size with a fabulous king size bed, free buffet breakfast and very clean facilities. It was more than I expected for the price that I paid. Will definitely stay there again. Highly recommended.

The rooms are clean and huge. Shower still looks old but bearable.Try to get rooms above 5th Floor when you check-in as the shower are a bit newer and lighting are better. There are non-smoking floors available and are absolutely smokeless! The 12th floor onwards are the newly renovated executive floor. Location is fantastic and station is just in-front with lots of 24 hours eating all around.7/11 is just next door.

Location was fantasic. Times Square, Sungei Wang, BB Plaza, even Pavilian, Lot 10 etc malls are all within walking distance from 5-15mins walk only.
It is also near the monorail Imbi station which makes travelling so much easier.
Hotel Breakfast was good enough so that makes the whole hotel stay decent, and pleasant.
Will recommend first time travellers to KL to stay in this hotel due to convenience.

Although we stayed only one night, we were very pleased with the overall standard of service. Staff were very polite and we would definitely return to the hotel on our next visit. The proximity to the malls was a definite plus in KL!
