Great room great places I'd prefer lower prices that's only complain
Nice Family Hotel Near Attractions
Booked a family room for three nights - two rooms plus two bathrooms which is excellent for two families traveling together. There is a small balcony which is good for my mum's morning exercises. Breakfast is sufficient and offers lots of choices with different selections to keep us interested. Staff is also very keen to give suggestions on public transportation. Consider staying at this hotel if you have an outward trip to Penang and other northbound cities as the hotel is just a stone's throw away from Puduraya Station. However, if you wish to go south to Genting or Singapore you'll need a taxi to TBS which is a bus terminal located in the suburbs of town.
The only improvement I could see is to increase the frequency of shuttle buses. There's only one running from the hotel to Bintang Walk and one to Chinatown in the evening. Having said that, these two attractions are quite accessible on foot - if the weather is nice & not raining!

We booked a double room for 2 nights but when we got there the first evening there was only a twin room available facing a carpark at the back of the building. I asked that we be given a double the next day at the front of the building and we were moved to a double for the next night which was a very large room on the10th floor overlooking the street which was far nicer than we expected. The pool on the 3rd floor was very nice and great to cool off in after sightseeing.They also had a spa on the 3rd floor which has a wonderful smell and offered treatment packages at what looked like reasonable prices but we didn't try it out.The breakfast included was a very large buffet with a great variety of food. The reception was very helpful with information and directions. We enjoyed our stay and would go there again. The hotel was in walking distance of several attractions, China Town, KL Tower, Petronas Towers, Jelan Alon. The hotel did not book any transport to the airport other than taxis.

Overall family room space is spacious especially the bathroom. However was very dissapointed with the complimentary buffet breakfast. Limited spread and some of the food was bland (e.g. nasi goreng served on 5th March morning buffet breakfast. The fried egg sunny side was also cold and felt rubbery ). No waiter to serve you or even bother to greet you. Coffee and tea have to get it yourself. Poor customer service from the restaurant staff.

It took 20 mins to check out per room. Seems very long for me especially everybody tend to check out the same time at around 11a.m.

Getting a little run down
I have stayed at Swiss Gardens on 3 occations over the last 8 years and now the rooms are in need of a revamp. The rooms are clean and large with free internet and good service and a great breakfast but the hotel is just a little old.

Nice hotel, helpful staff.
just got back and it was a pleasant stay. it was a clean and nicely furnished room, at stone’s throw away from major shopping malls and night spots. the staff were also very helpful and patient even when we asked them every day about the nearby food and shopping places.
