good location, warm employees
the USP of the place is its location. Bang on Petaling, it is close to all other attractions of KL like KL tower, Petronas, Bukit bintang area.

a few floors are getting renovated, a few have been renovated, the ones yet to be renovated have old matress, carpet etc. ask for a room with a window overlooking petaling street.

Sightsee Kuala Lumpur with the comforts of home
A very strategically placed Hotel in the heart of Chinatown Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Walking distances to all key areas of interest and sightseeing. Hotel has free wifi and room amenities are replenished daily. Despite the sweltering tropical heat in the heart of this city, the hotel remains a cool abode and a welcoming sight when we return to rest/shower before going out again.
The only little grouse we had was that parking was not provided. The hotel uses a third party parking concession which granted us a RM12 flat rate a day per parking convenience across the road where we stayed. The way to our rooms was a little confusing as we had to take the elevator, walk, go through rooms (with our key card to access the otherwise locked doors) and continue taking the elevator. But overall, it is a clean hotel with very friendly personnel.
We recommend our friends to stay in here. Excellent service and breakfast is good.

Convenient Place to stay
Conveniently located. Walking distance to nearest hospital, church, eating outlets, shopping areas and return coach pickup point. Room is reasonably clean but the coffee cups needs a good scrub. Free WIFI within the hotel is not very stable but better than no access at all. Generally satisfied with the stay.
A westerners view on oriental hotels
arriving late at night ,the receptionist was very welcoming and helpful to check in to the superior room with a window( I learned that some rooms do not have windows and they are cheaper,In Europe,I never ever came to hotels witout a window,but in the far east I found that STANDARD rooms do NOT have a window, so,if you are staying for a period, you might want to know the difference). The bed was clean and very comfortable and the bathroom shower had warm water all the time.Air conditioning is vital for westerners who will find the heat to be in need of some cool ventilation;it needs some dialogue to be sure. Finally to the food ,in the orient,do expect to find it to be completely different but also enjoyable by experiment;you can ask for scrambled eggs with toast very good.

We have stayed at this hotel before, but this time quite dissapointed. A female receptionist was rude when l told her POSB everyday card is also a credit card. I told her she could check on line as the hotel needed verification for deposit. She shot back that l should check. Another male staff told her just record the card details. It was done. I requested for 2 room key cards she told me hotel fully booked can't give. The male staff took over and told me that he will get one for me later.
The room had new carpet, but the aircon needed repair, both days a guy repaired and on the 2nd day it was rectified. We went for breakfast and back at room cleaner told us the towel will come later. serveral calls were made then at 5pm the towel was sent. Just imagine no towel never bath and after toilet i used my t-shirt to wipe dry. The cleaner should have let the old towels till she got the new ones.
I have stayed at this hotel before first time i encounter such bad standard. Not sure what happen, but the hotel was fully booked and they raised the tarif as well. If this goes on it will be a budget hotel just like the neighbours for back packers etc.

great place to stay close too everything but room a bit small and no window and fridge
Good value
In the heart of Chinatown and perfect for Petaling Street shopping. Sometimes other guests can be quite noisy and banging doors can be a problem but, overall, it's a good basic budget hotel.
Just one comment to the management if they read this - it's time to change the cups in the bedrooms and restaurant to mugs like other good hotels... it's time.

Initial impression of room was not good as it smelt of smoke and no opening window, the bathroom did need an update. However the position of the hotel was good, staff friendly and good choice for breakfast. This hotel is good value for money and is an ideal base for those just looking for a basic but clean hotel.
