We enjoyed our stay at Allson Genesis, the location is perfect. Hotel staff are very helpful and the room we stayed in was adequate. It is definately good value for the budget traveler.

Very clean.
Very good location. Near Jalan Alor, the street with lot of tasty and cheap food from the afternoon till late and near skytrainstation Bukit Bintang (5min. walking). Near shoppingmalls.
Very quiet.
No place for budget travellers.
Also a sauna and spa inside. We didn't use it because of no time.
It's a safe place. Good place when you just arrive in KL or when you go back home and want to stay for 2 or 3 nights. We paid for 1 night 27 euro (breakfastbuffet included and eat as much as you can).
Walking distance from Petronas Twin tower and skytower.
Friendly and helpfull staff.
You can also book tours.
If we go back to KL we gonna use this place again.
It's recommended.

We enjoyed our stay. Good location. The only negative part is that the room was a bit damp and the breakfast was poor. Also too small breakfast area for all the guests. Otherwise, not too bad.

Cons: Wireless internet not reliable, limited breakfast buffet choices
All in all, a very good value for the money, would not hesitate to stay there again.

Great location, few mins walk to major shopping centre. Choice of breakfast is limited, however, food street is just one street away. Room is generally clean and comfortable.

I've stayed at the Allson Genesis twice...
I've stayed at the Allson Genesis twice now, the first time being two years ago. The appeal for me was the location (near ideal shopping and the monorail) and the rates. Service was pleasant and helpful; breakfast adequate; rooms clean and comfortable; neighbourhood safe. I don't like expensive hotels when I'm out and about all day long anyway, so the AG was all I needed and wanted.

Very good value hotel located in the bukit bintang area with many shopping center.
Not enough seating for brekky, kept running...
Not enough seating for brekky, kept running out of cutlery, plates & food. Reception staff not friendly but expected that from previous reports on asia rooms. but location was fantastic for shopping, a 5 minute walk to all plazas incl Low Yat & BB. Room recently renovated, bathroom still old, small but neat.
