overprices and dirty
price is too high for an old room with old furnitures and old towels. Why can you not buy new towels? Location is ok. We will not come back again to this hotel.
Internet Wi-fi
This was my 3rd times staying at Alpha Genesis. I was happy to hear that the room has internet access this time but need to bring along our laptop. The only sad thing is that the room does not has any wireless network. Nowadays most of us are using iphone. Therefore i would be glad if the hotel management would consider to install wireless network in the room. Thank you.
High price
quite expensive but this is a new hotel, near centre, shopping easily
hot water often lost if you want to have a bath at midnight
lots of surprises, too bad, they are negative

its ridiculous that there is no internet access into room - and the business center opens at local business hour only, not even evenings
toilet bowl did not flush properly
hot water supply needed to be called one of the days
black out at midnight, one of the nights
Good Value
We loved the location. Close to the bus stop for the Hop on Hop off bus which can be a great way to see KL. Breakfast was good and changed slightly each day. The room was large (standard room) and clean and good value. My only complaint was maybe the pillows were a bit hard. I asked for a Iron and board and it arrived within minutes.Would be happy to stay there again. . Mar 2011
Pleasant stay
The location was great; nearby to many shopping malls. The staff were friendly and the design of the hotel was simple. The rooms were clean with a simple layout. However, the entrance of the basement carpark was very small and our car could not enter it. Therefore, we had to park in front of the hotel. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and value for money.
Kuala Lumpur Alpha Genesis
I was travelling with 2 friends and we had booked our accomodation several months prior to our stay, Upon arriving, it took an estimated 15 mins to book us in. Our three rooms were on seperate floors, the smoker was given a non smoking room and the non smoker a smoking room. Not helpful when you are travelling as part of a group
Rooms were very dated and could use an update, the cleanliness was a bit of an issue, mine was not to bad but my friends could have done with a good clean.
The location of the hotel and the staff could not be faulted, (I had an issue with the plumbing in my room and it was fixed immediatley)
Value for money it is a good deal, if you can handle the cleanliness issues,
The spa which we were looking forward to was behind a locked door and we were told to go back to reception, not the warm welcome I was looking for, it seemed more of a mens club than a family friendly spa.
Until this hotel has had a good clean and a bit of a update I wont be going again

Ok for price
The location is excellent, however their is a gentleman's club on a lower level. So I think this makes it non family friendly. They only had twin rooms, so I got upgraded to the top floor to one of the executive rooms, and these rooms I would rate as a good 3 star hotel. Overall stay was good, however breakfast was not worth getting. Stay here if you can get a good promotional rate. The Radius International next door has a bigger breakfast and a pool for the same price. Nothing wrong with either hotel if you are not expecting 5 star luxury.
Great homely hotel and Service!!
Convieniently located to everywhere by foot!!And service was excellent. Even provide us with iron as well as ironing board when requested!! Value for money and comfortable bedding and decor. Fabulous!!!
2nd time i stayed here. very good location is number 1 selling point. it's just off bukit bintang which the upmarket shopping and leisure area. also it's reasonably priced.
